Cate's Six Months Old!

Oops, I didn't take any pictures today, other than one on my phone. Totally meant to, but when you have a six month old -- who is eating real food like sweet potatoes & carrots by the way, getting to the grocery store (20 minutes away) is an all day event which left no time for a photo shoot.
I do have some recent pictures from a couple weeks ago when the Covell's came for a visit. That will be a separate post, but here are some of her most current photos.

Makeover

Lots of changes with the blog.
Like I'm actually blogging again...also, new look & new address.

Here are some photos we had done way back in November. Our friend and James River grad Anna Bowser (ABE Photography) did them for us. I wasn't really thinking so when Anna got to our house, Cate was tired and hungry...good job, Jen. Somehow they turned out great. Anna totally has a gift.

and we're back!

Ok, so there is no excuse for not blogging in almost 5 months. I'll keep it short and just say that I was inspired to get back to it because of my friend Kristen who has just started her own blog here. She & Kyle just adopted a dog, Dug, and I'm excited to read about how he makes them laugh and maybe makes them a little angry sometimes...hehe.
Here are some pictures from our day so far...I figured that's the best way to jump back in.

And it's St. Patty's Day and Grammy D's birthday!

So we had to dress appropriately. This is the first picture I've seen of Cate that she has looked shockingly big/grown/old. I realize that doesn't make a lot of sense because she's not even 6 months old...I think it might be a mom thing. Ahhhhh!

The development & travels of my belly...

This is the secret belly at the Cummings house watching the Super Bowl. Ashley & Haily have no idea.

Caleb & I setting up for a messy something at Young Life...this is probably one of the first documentations of the belly, sometime in May.

The belly got to go to Saranac for the month of June and help lead songs in club. Dave & Emily were there too.

The belly also got to go to Rockbridge for a week in late July with a bunch of sweet girls from River. My expression in this photo is terrible, but I promise I wasn't angry with Kendyl.

The belly was in Kristen & Kyle's wedding on August 14th.

The belly with Ashley at the Dude Diaper Baby Shower in mid-September, one of several awesome showers thrown for us.

The most recent photo of the belly at Smith Mountain Lake September 25th, with Emily, Rene, Ashley, and Taylor, just a week and a day before the due date.
